Q: Can kids go on this tour? What's the age limit?

A: Yes, kids are totally welcome on the Private Dolphins and Daufuskie Island Stop Tour! There isn't a strict age limit, but I would recommend it for ages 3 and up since they’ll need to be able to wear life jackets and sit still for a while. It’s really fun for families, and the dolphins will definitely wow them!

Q: What if the weather is bad on the day of our tour? Can we reschedule?

A: Totally understand your concern! If the weather's looking rough, they usually let you reschedule without a fee. Just keep an eye on the forecast and call Lowcountry Watersports to figure it out. They’re pretty flexible about it as safety is their priority.

A: Great question! The tour includes a licensed captain and the pontoon boat, but food is on you. You can grab something at the Old Daufuskie Crab Company on the island, but just note it’s at your own expense. I can’t rave enough about our experience on this tour! We saw so many dolphins up close, which was just magical. The captain was super knowledgeable and told us all about the marsh grasses. Daufuskie Island itself is stunning, especially the Freeport Marina area. Just a heads up, plan for some extra time there for lunch. Bring your camera because the dolphin sightings are out of this world! Definitely recommend it as a gift for anyone who loves the water.
