Q&A
A: There’s actually no strict age limit for the helicopter ride, but kids under 12 should be accompanied by an adult. They do provide headsets, so the younger ones can enjoy the commentary too! Just make sure you've got the right height requirement, as kids need to be at least 40 inches tall to safely fit in the helicopter.
A: Yes, you can definitely reschedule if weather conditions aren't safe for flying. They’ll usually contact you the day before to confirm, and if needed, you can choose a different date. Just keep an eye on the forecast and it’s best to have a couple of backup dates in mind!
A: Dress comfortably but keep in mind that it can get a bit chilly up there. A light jacket or sweater is a good idea, and don’t forget closed-toe shoes for safety. Also, if you’re prone to motion sickness, maybe bring along some ginger candies or whatever helps you!

Thinking of gifting a helicopter ride in Detroit!
I’m considering getting this private helicopter ride over downtown Detroit for my boyfriend’s birthday. I think he’ll love the views, especially flying over the Ambassador Bridge! The price is great too. Has anyone done this? What was your experience like?
Anyone else nervous about the helicopter ride?
I booked the private helicopter ride, but I’m seriously freaking out a bit. I’ve never been in a helicopter before! What’s it like? Is it bumpy? I might just gift it to someone else if it’s too scary!
