Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for kids on the Precious Cargo Bike? My youngest is 3.

A: The Precious Cargo Bike can safely carry kids ages 2 to 10, so your 3-year-old should be all set! They really make it easy for little ones to join in on the fun while being secure. Plus, the guides are super friendly and accommodating, which is a huge plus for parents!

Q: How easy is it to reschedule if it rains? I want to do this as a surprise but weather can be tricky.

A: Rescheduling is pretty straightforward! If the weather looks bad, they’ll give you a heads-up and help you pick a new date. Just make sure to contact them at least a day in advance. They want to make sure you have the best experience possible, even if that means changing plans last minute.

Q: What should we wear for the bike tour? Is there a dress code?

A: There’s no formal dress code, but I’d recommend wearing comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes. You’ll be riding around, so you want to be able to move easily. Also, a light jacket might be good if you’re going in the morning or evening. The guides provide helmets, so no worries there!

Thinking of gifting the Family-Friendly Bike Tour in DC!

Hey everyone! I’m considering this bike tour as a birthday present for my family. It looks super fun to ride around DC and see all the monuments. Has anyone done this? I’m especially curious about how kid-friendly it really is since I have a 5-year-old and a 7-year-old. Any tips or experiences would be awesome!

Experience with the bike tour in DC!

I just got back from the Private Family-Friendly Bike Tour in DC, and it was awesome! We had a fantastic guide who made history so much fun for the kids. The cargo bike was perfect for my 4-year-old, and they even had kid-friendly snacks, which was a big hit. Seriously considering booking it again for family visiting next month!
