Q&A
A: There aren't any specific age limits for the Chinatown food tour, but it is designed for adults who can handle some walking and tasting. Kids are welcome if they're adventurous eaters! Just keep in mind it might not be the most kid-friendly cuisine, so gauge their interest in trying new things. The tour guide does a great job explaining each dish, making it fun for everyone.
A: Wear comfortable shoes since you’ll be walking around Chinatown quite a bit! Dress in layers because you might get hot while walking but cool off in some of the restaurants. Casual is totally fine, just be ready to eat and enjoy the food. Also, if it’s rainy, an umbrella is a good idea if the tour goes on.
A: You can typically reschedule as long as you give a 24-hour notice. Just reach out to the provider directly through the contact info they provide. It's super flexible, which is great if you have last-minute plans change. I recommend doing this as soon as you can to ensure you get a new spot!

Thinking of gifting the Chinatown food tour—thoughts?
Hey everyone! I’m looking to gift a private food tour in Chinatown for my friend’s birthday. I hear it’s a blast, and the spots are super hidden gems. I love that they focus on lesser-known places! But I'm a little unsure if it’s adventurous enough for her. She’s not too picky but doesn’t like extremely spicy stuff. Also, what’s the best time to go? Any tips on how to make it extra special?
Just did the Chinatown food tour—so good!
I finally did the private food tour in Chinatown last week and wow, it was incredible! The guide took us to some super hidden spots I never would have found on my own. The dumplings were to die for! It was a good mix of walking and eating, and I was so stuffed by the end. Definitely recommend it for food lovers or anyone wanting to explore NYC differently!
