Q&A
A: There's definitely some walking, especially in areas like Jackson Square and Lafayette Cemetery, but it's manageable. The guide is great at pacing the group, so it should be fine for your parents. Just make sure to wear comfy shoes, and they'll be good to go!
A: Good question! The tour generally goes on unless it's severe weather. Since you're in a van for part of it, you'll stay dry while you drive. But the walking parts might be a bit soggy. Just bring an umbrella just in case!
A: Absolutely! You can book it for any date, and they usually offer flexibility for rescheduling if something comes up. Just make sure to check their cancellation policy when you book. It'll be a fantastic surprise for your friend!

Just did the Private French Quarter & Garden District Tour - wow!
I just got back from doing the Private French Quarter & Garden District Tour, and it was AMAZING! Our guide was super knowledgeable about the history and architecture. The drive through the Garden District was so beautiful, especially with the giant oak trees. We even stopped to learn about the unique burial traditions at Lafayette Cemetery. Highly recommend if you're looking for a unique experience in New Orleans!
Considering this tour for a gift - thoughts?
I'm thinking about gifting the Private French Quarter & Garden District Tour for my friend's birthday. She loves history and architecture, and I think this would be perfect! Anyone done it recently? Any tips on the best way to present this as a gift?
