Q&A
A: Kids ages 3 and up are welcome on the tour, and they provide child seats or boosters if you give them a heads-up. So, unfortunately, your 2-year-old won't be able to join unless there's an exception. But this tour is really family-friendly, and the views are amazing for older kids!
A: Yes, you can reschedule if the weather is really bad. They usually try to accommodate guests, but it’s best to check their specific cancellation policy. Just keep an eye on the forecast and plan ahead—the fog can be a bit unpredictable in San Francisco!
A: Layers are key! Muir Woods can be chilly, especially in the morning, so I'd recommend wearing a light jacket or sweater. It can get warm during the city tour later, so make sure to dress in layers that you can take off. Comfortable shoes are a must since you're hiking among those amazing redwoods!

Considering the Full-Day SF City Tour + Muir Woods for my parents' anniversary!
Hey everyone! I’m thinking of gifting my parents the Private Full-Day San Francisco City Tour + Muir Woods experience. They love nature and city exploration. I think starting at Fisherman's Wharf and going to Muir Woods would be amazing for them. Plus, the stop at Sausalito sounds so cute for lunch! Has anyone done this? Any tips on how to make their day extra special?
Just did the San Francisco City Tour + Muir Woods and it was awesome!
OMG! We just finished the tour, and it was such a blast! The redwoods were INSANE, and the open-air Jeep gave us such a good view. The guide was super chill and knowledgeable, and stopping for lunch in Sausalito was the cherry on top. If you're thinking about it, just do it; you won’t regret it!
