The magnificent green Ko'olau mountains, the endless miles of blue ocean, and the warm Aloha of the Hawaiian people will make this tour a very special experience! We'll visit the Pali lookout to enjoy a view that Mark Twain called the most beautiful in the world, continue to Kailua beach, and then visit the Byodo-In Temple, a replica of a 900-year-old Japanese Buddhist Temple. We'll then proceed to the beautiful North Shore, beneath the spectacular cliffs of the Ko'olau Mountains. Along the way we'll stop at the Kualoa Ranch, Waimea Falls and Beach, the charming, historic surf town of Haleiwa, and (if time allows) Dole Plantation. Your Certified Hawai`i Professional Tour Guide will suggest places to stop but YOU will decide where to do so, according to your preferences. Q: What's the age limit for kids on this tour?

A: There isn’t a strict age limit, but younger kids should definitely be able to enjoy the sites we visit. Parents have taken kids as young as 5, and they had a blast! Just be aware that some locations involve walking, so younger kids might need extra help. Overall, it’s very family-friendly!

Q: What’s the best time of year to go on this tour?

A: Honestly, any time is great, but the best weather is usually from April to October. If you want to avoid the rain, those months are your best bet. Plus, the beaches are super nice! Just keep in mind that summer can be pretty crowded.

Q: How flexible is the itinerary if we want to spend more time at certain spots?

A: Super flexible! The tour guide will ask what you’re most interested in and adjust accordingly. Want to linger at the Byodo-In Temple or grab a snack in Haleiwa? Just let them know! It's great because you get to tailor the experience to your group.

Thinking of gifting the Private Oahu Tour - anyone done it?

I’m considering this tour for my parent’s 30th anniversary while they’re in Hawaii. They love nature and history, so the Pali lookout and Byodo-In Temple sound perfect. I’m just worried about how long the tour lasts and if they’ll get enough time at each spot. Would love to hear any tips!

Just got back from the Oahu Circle Island Tour - wow!

I can’t recommend this enough! The view from the Pali lookout was breathtaking, and the Byodo-In Temple was so peaceful. Our guide was super knowledgeable and helped us make the most of the day. If you’re unsure, just go for it - my friends and I had such a blast!
