Q&A
A: Kids aged 10 and up can join this tour! Just remember that they’ll need to be comfortable in a kayak on potentially chilly water. The guides are really accommodating and make sure everyone feels safe. Just make sure to dress your kid in layers and bring a warm hat!
A: Not at all! The guides provide great instruction and are really patient. The kayaks are stable, and you’ll get the hang of it quickly. Plus, the views of the Mendenhall Glacier make it all worth it, even if you're just learning to paddle!
A: If the weather's too rough, they’ll contact you to reschedule or offer a full refund. They prioritize safety, so you won't be out on the water if it’s not safe. Just make sure to check the forecast close to your tour date!

Amazing Kayaking Tour with Views of Mendenhall Glacier!
I just got back from the private group kayaking tour in Juneau, and wow, what an experience! We paddled through the Mendenhall Wetlands, saw seals lounging on the rocks, and had the glacier in view the entire time. The guides were super friendly and made sure we were all comfortable in our kayaks (which was great since I was a first-timer). It was the perfect gift for my husband’s birthday, and I think we got some killer photos too!
Thinking of Booking the Kayaking Tour – Any Tips?
I’m looking to book the private kayaking tour for my family’s trip next month. Any tips on what to wear? I want to make sure we’re prepared, especially since we’re not used to cold water. I heard they provide the dry suits, but I’m not sure if we need anything else under that. Thanks!
