Q&A
A: Kids can definitely join the private SUP lessons as long as they can swim. That being said, I’d recommend checking directly with Waikiki Beachboys for any specific age recommendations, as they usually cater to families. Just make sure everyone is comfortable in the water!
A: If the weather isn’t looking good, Waikiki Beachboys will usually contact you to reschedule. They’re super accommodating about making sure you can enjoy your time on the water without worrying about storms or high winds. Just keep an eye on the forecast!
A: Definitely wear something you’re comfortable in! Swimsuits are best, and don’t forget a rash guard if you’re worried about the sun. Water shoes can help, but it’s fine to go barefoot too. Bring sunscreen and perhaps a hat for sun protection!

Thinking of gifting private SUP lessons at Waikiki Beachboys!
I’m planning to surprise my friends with these private SUP lessons at Waikiki Beachboys! It’s right there on the beach, and I love that it’s a small group. I think it’s going to be an awesome bonding experience. Plus, we can get photos taken! Just wondering if anyone has done this before? How was your experience?
Is it really worth the price for 4 people?
I’m considering getting the private group SUP lessons for my family of four while we’re in Oahu. But I’m kinda unsure if it’s worth the cost? I mean, it sounds fun, but I want to make sure it’s a good experience. Thoughts?
