Q&A

Q: What should we wear for the Columbia River Gorge tour? Is it outdoors most of the time?

A: Definitely dress in layers! The weather can change quickly in the Gorge, so you'll want to be prepared for everything from sun to rain. Comfortable walking shoes are a must since you'll be hiking a bit to see those stunning waterfalls. I’d also recommend a light jacket, just in case the wind picks up at the viewpoints!

Q: Can we reschedule if the weather doesn't cooperate?

A: Yes, you can reschedule if the weather is really bad. Sea to Summit is pretty flexible with that. Just make sure you give them a heads-up in advance so they can accommodate you. It's definitely better to pick a day with clear skies for those views!

Q: Is this tour kid-friendly? My kids are 8 and 10.

A: Totally! The tour is great for families, and kids will love the waterfalls. Just keep in mind that some of the hiking can be a bit steep, so make sure your kids are comfortable with short hikes. The guide will adjust the pace to suit the group, so it should be a fun time for everyone!

Looking for gift ideas? Columbia River Gorge tour is a hit!

I gifted this experience to my parents for their anniversary and they loved it! They said the views were breathtaking and the guide made it so special, sharing stories about the area. They also enjoyed the small group vibe. Just a heads-up, there’s a bit of walking involved, but nothing too crazy. If you have nature lovers in your life, this is a solid pick!
