Q&A
A: There aren't strict age limits for this tour! It's great for families, so kids are welcome. Just keep in mind that younger children might need to be monitored closely, especially with the walking portions. They tailor the experience to your group's interests, which is nice if you have varied ages in your party.
A: Definitely wear layers! The weather can change quickly in the park, and it’s chilly up in the mountains. A light jacket and good walking shoes are a must. Don’t forget your raincoat; they provide ponchos, but having your own is always better just in case!
A: Yes, you can reschedule! Just make sure to contact them ahead of time. They’re pretty flexible, but giving them a few days notice is ideal. It can get busy, especially during peak season, so try to work it out as soon as you know your new dates.

Had an amazing time in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park!
I just did the private guide tour in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, and it was incredible! We learned so much about the volcanoes and saw some amazing landscapes. Our guide was super knowledgeable and made the 3 hours fly by. We loved the van ride and the videos about past eruptions. It was such a unique experience, totally worth it for anyone visiting the Big Island. I’m thinking about gifting this experience to my family next time they visit!
Thinking about this tour as a gift, any thoughts?
I'm considering gifting the private guide experience in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park to my partner for our anniversary. We're both really into nature and learning! Just not sure if it’ll be engaging enough for a couple of hours. Anyone try this yet?
