Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit for kids, but they recommend at least 5 years old to be able to enjoy the experience. Younger ones can come if they’re in good health and able to sit comfortably in the sled. The guides are great with kids, so they make sure everyone is safe and having fun!
A: If the weather isn't safe for sledding, they will contact you to reschedule. It’s pretty flexible, so you can usually find another time that works. Just keep an eye on your email or phone for updates from them!
A: You don't need to bring anything special since they provide all the cold weather gear, including parkas and boots. Just make sure to wear warm layers underneath. I recommend thermal leggings and a good base layer to stay comfortable. You'll be cozy!

Just got back from the dog sledding experience on the Yukon Quest Trail!
OMG, it was such an amazing adventure! We went with Last Frontier Mushing Co-op in Fairbanks and it was truly unforgettable. The dogs were so adorable and the guides were super knowledgeable. They provided all the warm gear, which was a relief because it was freezing! For anyone thinking about gifting this to someone, DO IT! It's perfect for both kids and adults.
Thinking about gifting dog sledding for my nephew's birthday!
Hey everyone! My nephew just turned 8 and is obsessed with dogs. I think the dog sledding on the Yukon Quest Trail would be an epic gift. Has anyone done it with younger kids? Any tips on how he might handle it? Would love to hear your thoughts!
