Q&A
A: There isn't a strict age limit, but younger kids might get tired depending on the hike's length. It’s best for ages 8 and up, especially if they can handle several miles on uneven terrain. If you're bringing a younger child, I'd recommend checking with the guide first about the route they plan to take!
A: If the weather isn't safe for hiking, the guides will usually reschedule. They’re pretty flexible and want everyone to have a good experience! Just reach out in advance, and they can help find another day that works for you.
A: Definitely wear sturdy hiking shoes or boots with good grip! The trails can be rocky and uneven, and you want to be comfortable for the entire time. Also, dress in layers because it can get chilly under the trees, but warm up as you walk!

Looking for a unique gift? Consider the Private Guided Hiking Tour!
I took my dad on this Private Guided Hiking Tour in Sequoia National Park for his birthday and it was amazing! Our guide was super knowledgeable about the Sequoias and shared interesting history about them that I had no clue about. We got to see some of the biggest trees up close, and the fresh air was just what we needed. Totally worth the price! Just a heads up, you need to be ready for a hike, it’s not a stroll in the park!
Thinking of gifting this hike for my partner's anniversary!
I’m considering this private guided hike in Sequoia for my partner. We both love nature but haven’t hiked together much. I’m excited but a bit nervous about my partner's fitness level. Anyone have thoughts on the difficulty? And how's parking there?
