Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit, but kids should be 6 and up to really enjoy and keep up with the experience. The tour is pretty customizable, so if you have a younger child, you can let the guide know, and they can adjust the itinerary a bit. Just be prepared for some hiking and variable terrain!
A: They’re pretty understanding about weather! If conditions seem unsafe, they'll work with you to reschedule. Just make sure to keep an eye on the forecast. I had to shift my tour a day before due to rain, and they were super accommodating.
A: Definitely wear comfortable hiking shoes because you'll be walking on some rocky paths. Dress in layers; it can get chilly and windy near the craters. The hike isn't super strenuous, but there's definitely some ups and downs depending on the path you take!

Amazing Private Guided Kilauea Volcano Tour - A Must-Do!
I just got back from the Kilauea Volcano tour and it was absolutely incredible! Our guide was super knowledgeable and really tailored the experience to what we wanted. We even got to see some fresh lava rocks and had a lovely picnic lunch surrounded by stunning landscapes. The photo package they provided was a nice touch too! Highly recommend this for anyone on the Big Island!
Thinking of gifting the Volcano Tour experience!
I want to surprise my partner with the Kilauea Volcano tour for our anniversary. We’ve both never been to Hawaii before, and this seems like a unique experience. I just hope the weather cooperates! Any tips on how to make the most of it?
