Q&A

Q: Are there age limits for this canyon tour? Can kids join?

A: There's no strict age limit, kids are totally welcome! It's a family-friendly experience, but I'd recommend it for kids who are at least 5-6 years old so they can enjoy the hike if you choose that option. Bring along some snacks for them as well, the tour provides some but it's always good to have favorites on hand!

Q: How's the parking situation downtown if I'm driving to the tour?

A: Parking in downtown Salt Lake City can mostly be found along the street or in nearby lots. Just keep in mind that some places might charge a small fee. It's best to arrive a bit early, plus you’ll have time to grab a coffee before the tour starts!

Q: What should I wear for the canyon drive and hike?

A: Dress in layers! The canyons can be cooler, especially in the morning. I wore a light jacket and was glad I did. Comfortable walking shoes are a must if you plan to hike. And don’t forget sunscreen and a hat - the sun can be strong up there!

Thinking of gifting the canyon tour to my parents, any advice?

I'm considering buying the Private Half-Day Scenic Drive Through Salt Lake's Best Canyons for my parents’ anniversary. They're not super adventurous but they love nature. I heard the views are amazing! Can anyone share their experience? How's the hiking option? Is it easy enough for them? Thanks!

Just did the canyon tour, and WOW!

I went on the Private Half-Day Scenic Drive last weekend and it was honestly one of the best things I've done in Salt Lake! The views in Big Cottonwood Canyon were stunning, especially when you get up to the mountain tram. My friends and I loved it. Highly recommend bringing a camera, you'll wanna snap so many pics!
