Q&A
A: Yes, you can definitely reschedule if weather conditions aren't ideal. The tour provider is really flexible with changes, especially during the winter months when there's a chance of rain or snow at the Salt Flats. Just give them a call or send a message, and they’ll help you find a new time that works for you.
A: The ideal time to visit is late spring to early fall, like May to September. The weather's usually warm and the Salt Flats are dry, which means you’ll get those stunning views! Just keep in mind that from November to April, there's a possibility they could be covered in water, so check ahead before booking.
A: There are no strict age restrictions for the tour. It’s suitable for all ages, but keep in mind that younger kids might need some extra supervision due to the wide-open spaces. Just make sure they’re comfortable being in a vehicle for a bit!

Just did the Private Half-Day tour to Bonneville Salt Flats!
I took my family on this tour last week, and it was incredible! Our guide was super knowledgeable and even helped us take some awesome pics on the flats. We went early in the morning and got to see the sunrise over the salt—it was magical. Totally recommend bringing some extra water, though, it gets warm out there. Anyone else have experiences to share?
Considering gifting the Bonneville Salt Flats tour!
I’m thinking about getting this tour as a gift for my dad who loves cars and speed. He’s always talked about the land speed records and I think this would blow his mind! Is it worth it? Any tips for making the experience extra special?
