Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit, but I'd say it's best for kids 6 and up. The crew is super accommodating, but younger kids should be monitored closely since it’s a sailboat. We brought our 8-year-old, and he loved spotting dolphins! Just make sure they’re comfortable on the water.
A: Dress casually! Lightweight clothing is key since it can get breezy once you’re out on the water. I wore shorts and a light sweater, which was perfect. Don’t forget sunscreen and maybe a hat to protect against the sun before sunset!
A: The captains are really understanding about weather. If it looks bad, they'll usually let you reschedule without hassle. We had to move ours because of storms, and they worked with us to find a better day. Just keep an eye on the forecast!

Just did the sunset sailing tour! It was magical 🌅
I just got back from the Private Hilton Head Sunset Sailing Tour, and wow, it was phenomenal! The captain took us out to Port Royal Sound, and we saw dolphins swimming alongside us. The sunset was stunning, and we got some amazing views of Hilton Head and the surrounding islands. The vibe was super chill, and we were able to help with the sails if we wanted! Definitely planning to book again for family visiting next month.
Thinking about gifting this sunset tour—thoughts?
I’m considering getting the Private Hilton Head Sunset Sailing Tour for my parents’ anniversary. They love being outdoors and enjoy wildlife. Do you think they’d like this? I’m a bit worried about motion sickness, though. Anyone had any experience with that?
