It's a hard hike so come prepared. No bathrooms and requires good shoes. It's a real hiking adventure! Start time is recommended for 8:30am to take advantage of the cooler temperatures. Q: Is there an age limit for the Hollywood Sign hike? My kids are 10 and 12.

A: There isn't a specific age limit, but it's definitely a challenging hike! Kids who are used to hiking and can handle steep inclines should be fine, but keep in mind the uphill trek and lack of bathrooms. I'd say if they’ve hiked before and are in decent shape, they'll enjoy it.

Q: What do you wear to the hike? Is it super hot during the day?

A: Definitely wear good hiking shoes and bring layers! Mornings can be cool, but it warms up quickly. I'd recommend moisture-wicking clothes and a hat for sun protection. Also, don't forget sunscreen!

Q: How hard is the hike really? I’m not in the best shape.

A: It’s a pretty steep hike, so if you're not used to hiking, it might be tough! The guides do a great job of pacing, but be prepared for a workout. If you take breaks and hydrate, you should be okay, just listen to your body.
