Our small instructor to participant ratios are designed to aid in maximising your safety as well as your ability to learn/assimilate scuba diving more effectively. With this private experience our instructor will be strictly dedicated to your party, as opposed to a regular scuba diving tour anywhere else on island where you will be put with many more beginners/participants in the same group making it harder for you to get the proper attention you need to succeed. We have made it possible for you as a participant to Taylor out your intro to scuba experience in a way where YOU can feel more comfortable , in turn this will smoothen the experience and allow you to learn faster and more effectively. Q: What if the weather is bad on the day we have booked?

A: If the weather isn’t cooperating, Ola ParaDive Scuba will work with you to reschedule your dive. They prioritize safety, and if conditions aren't right, they'll let you know. Just make sure to check in with them a few days before your scheduled date so you can plan accordingly!

Q: Is there an age limit for this diving experience?

A: Yes, typically participants need to be at least 10 years old to join. If you have younger kids interested, you might want to call them to see if they can accommodate special requests. They’re really flexible and want everyone to enjoy!

Q: What should we wear for the diving experience?

A: You’ll want to wear a swimsuit under your clothes! Ola ParaDive provides wetsuits, but if you’re not comfortable in one, just a swimsuit is fine. Make sure to bring a towel and some sunscreen, too, since you’ll be out in the sun for a bit.

Just did the Private Introductory Discover Scuba Diving in Oahu!

I just got back from my dive with Ola ParaDive and wow, it was incredible! The instructor was super chill and really helped me feel comfortable. I was nervous about the whole scuba thing, but they made it so easy. We chose beach entry, and the water was perfect. Definitely recommend this for anyone thinking about trying scuba for the first time!
