Q&A

Q: Are there any age restrictions for the fishing charter?

A: There are no strict age restrictions for the private fishing charter! Kids usually love it, but make sure they're comfortable on a boat. The captain can help with safety gear and tips for younger anglers. Just check with the provider ahead of time to see if they have any recommendations for kids.

Q: What should we wear for the fishing charter?

A: Definitely wear comfortable, quick-drying clothes! A hat and sunglasses are a must, too, since you’ll be out in the sun for a while. Don’t forget sunscreen! Closed-toe shoes are a good idea, especially if you’re moving around the boat. Bring a light jacket in case it gets breezy.

Q: Can I reschedule if the weather looks bad?

A: Yes, you can usually reschedule if the weather doesn’t cooperate! The captain will check the conditions and work with you to find a better day. Just be sure to contact them as soon as you know you need to change plans. It’s best to have a backup day in mind too!

Thinking of booking the Private Jacksonville Inshore Fishing Charter!

Hey everyone! I’m looking to surprise my dad with this fishing charter in Jacksonville. He loves fishing but hasn’t fished in Florida before. I see they have redfish and trout, which he’s super into. What do you think? Are the captains good? Any tips for making it a special day?

Just did the Inshore Fishing Charter—what a blast!

I took the Private Jacksonville Fishing Charter last weekend, and it was amazing! The captain was so chill and super helpful. We caught redfish and even a flounder! The scenery on the St. Johns River is beautiful, and I loved that they provided everything. Definitely recommend this for anyone looking to fish in Jacksonville!
