I limit this to 3 people, as we'll be in my home studio, so it's very possible you'll have a private lesson for yourself or you and your crafting accomplice(s) and/or maybe a new friend! You will leave wearing your very own - made with your own hands - metal rings. This workshop is a great way to get a taste of metalsmithing for jewelry without dedicating yourself to an entire semester. I've been an LA local for 12 years and love sharing my knowledge of the city, state and of course all things jewelry.

Q&A

Q: Is this class suitable for complete beginners?

A: Absolutely! Bianca is super welcoming and makes sure to guide beginners through every step. You don’t need any prior experience, just bring your creativity and a willingness to learn! Plus, you’ll leave with your own handmade rings, which is such a cool bonus.

Q: How long does the class usually last?

A: The class typically lasts around 3 to 4 hours, depending on the group’s experience level and how many rings you decide to make. It's a nice chunk of time to really get into the process without feeling rushed. You’ll definitely have enough time to enjoy yourself and get some good guidance from Bianca!

Q: What should I wear to the class? Any recommendations?

A: Comfort is key! You’ll be working with tools, so I’d suggest wearing something that you don’t mind getting a little dirty. Closed-toed shoes are a must since you'll be handling metal. Also, bring an apron if you have one! Bianca has a lot of materials but it’s always good to be prepared.

Just did a private jewelry class with Bianca! It was amazing!

I just got back from the private jewelry-making class with Bianca in LA, and wow, what a blast! I went with my best friend, and we both walked away with two metal rings each that we made ourselves. Bianca is super talented and really helps you get the hang of the tools. It felt so rewarding to create something with my own hands. Highly recommend this as a gift for anyone who loves crafts!

Considering this jewelry-making class as a gift—thoughts?

I'm thinking of getting the private jewelry-making class for my sister's birthday. She's really into crafts but has never tried jewelry making. Do you think this would be a good fit? How was the vibe and everything?
