Q&A
A: Yes, this tour is great for kids! There's no specific age restriction. The guides are super accommodating and they'll tailor the experience to keep it fun and engaging for younger ones. Just make sure they can handle a little walking if you choose the hiking option. Overall, a fantastic family activity!
A: Totally understandable to be concerned! Rainy Day Tours is pretty flexible. If the weather's really bad, they’ll usually let you reschedule without a hassle. Just make sure to check their policy when you book. It’s always good to have a backup plan, especially in Alaska!
A: Wear layers! The weather changes fast in Ketchikan, and it can get chilly. I’d recommend waterproof shoes if you’re going hiking since it can definitely get muddy. And don’t forget a rain jacket! The hike was one of my favorite parts of the tour, but you’ll want to be prepared.

Just booked the Private Ketchikan Tour—any tips?
Hey everyone! I just snagged the Private Ketchikan City Totems & Wildlife Van Tour for my family next month. We’re super excited, especially about seeing the totem parks and learning about the Native culture. I’m wondering if anyone has tips on how to make the most of the experience? What should we definitely not miss?
Just finished the Ketchikan Totem Tour—amazing experience!
I just got back from the Ketchikan City Totems & Wildlife Van Tour and wow, it was incredible! The guide was so knowledgeable about the Native culture and the totems. We even hiked to a beautiful waterfall! It was absolutely worth it, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Ketchikan. Seriously, just book it!
