A: There’s no strict age limit for kids, but keep in mind that they should be able to listen to instructions and enjoy being out on the water. Many families bring kids as young as 5 or 6. Just be sure to let the captain know in advance, so they can prepare accordingly!

Q: What should we wear for the fishing trip? Is it hot out there?

A: Definitely dress for the weather! Light, breathable clothes are best since it can get hot out there on Lake Istokpoga. Don’t forget your hat and sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun. Sturdy sandals or boat shoes work great, too!

Q: What if the weather is bad? Can we reschedule?

A: Absolutely! If the weather isn’t safe for fishing, you can easily reschedule with the charter service. They'll work with you to find a new date that fits your schedule. Just make sure to contact them as soon as you know!

Just got back from our fishing charter and wow, what a day! Our captain was super chill and taught us a ton about bass fishing. The cooler was stocked, and we brought our favorite snacks. Caught several big ones! Highly recommend this experience. It was perfect for my boyfriend’s birthday. 🎣🎉
