Q&A
A: Yes, they have a flexible rescheduling policy if weather conditions aren't suitable for the tour. Just give them a call or message them a few days before if you're unsure. They want everyone to have the best experience possible, so they'll work with you to find another date that fits. I've done this before, and they were super accommodating!
A: Kids of all ages can participate! However, for toddlers, it's best if a parent or guardian is in the water with them to ensure safety. The guides are super friendly and will help keep everyone comfortable. I took my 5-year-old, and he had a blast, especially with the treasure chest find!
A: You should definitely wear a swimsuit and bring a towel. The wetsuits they provide are pretty easy to slip on over your swimwear. You can bring your own gear, like snorkels and masks, but they provide everything you need included in the tour. Just make sure to wear sunscreen and maybe a hat for protection!

Amazing Experience Swimming with Manatees!
I just did the private manatee swim in Crystal River and it was honestly one of the best experiences of my life! The guides were super knowledgeable and made it so easy to find the manatees. We saw quite a few and they were so gentle! The snacks and hot chocolate were a nice touch too, especially after swimming. Highly recommend this as a gift for anyone who loves nature. Just be aware of the water temp; it was chilly at first but so worth it once you’re in!
Questions About the Manatee Swim Experience!
I’m thinking about gifting the manatee swim experience to my partner for their birthday. Has anyone done this? What’s the best time of year to go? I’ve heard winter is best for the manatees, but is it too cold for swimming? Any tips would be appreciated!
