Q&A
A: There's no strict minimum age, but I’d say kids around 10 and up would really enjoy it. The tour involves quite a bit of walking and some historical context that younger kids might not appreciate fully. If you're bringing younger children, just keep in mind their stamina for walking for 3 hours!
A: Comfortable footwear is a must! You’ll be doing a decent amount of walking, so leave the heels at home. Dress in layers since NYC can get pretty warm in the summer but might feel chilly in the shade. Definitely check the weather beforehand, too!
A: Yes, you can usually reschedule as long as you give them some notice. I think 48 hours is the typical cutoff. Just shoot them an email; they’re pretty accommodating. Always good to double-check their cancellation policy on the site, too!

Thinking of gifting the Midtown walking tour - any tips?
Hey everyone! I’m considering gifting the Private Midtown Walking Tour to my parents for their anniversary. They love architecture and NYC! Just wondering if it’s good for older folks? Also, what’s the vibe like during the tour? Any must-see spots I should mention? Thanks!
Just did the Midtown walking tour - awesome experience!
Just got back from the Private Midtown Walking Tour, and wow, what a fantastic experience! Our guide was super knowledgeable and made the history of each building come alive. Walking past the Empire State and Rockefeller Plaza was surreal! Highly recommend the Top of the Rock upgrade—amazing views of the skyline! 🏙️
