Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for kids on this tour? Would it be suitable for a 10-year-old?

A: There's really no strict age limit! Kids of all ages can come along, but I’d say it's best for ages 8 and up since the tour has a lot of walking and some areas are a bit steep. My 10-year-old loved it, especially Multnomah Falls! Just be sure they’re up for a full day of adventure.

Q: How's the weather in Portland during the summer for this tour? Should I worry about cancellations?

A: Summer in Portland is usually pretty nice! Expect mild temps and lots of sunshine, but be prepared for a sudden rain shower - it’s Oregon after all. The tour runs rain or shine though. If it’s really bad, they’ll let you know ahead of time and you can reschedule without any issues.

Q: Is parking easy at the departure point in Portland? I want to drive there myself.

A: Yes, parking is usually pretty straightforward! There’s a lot near the departure point that has ample space. Just make sure to get there a bit early to score a good spot, especially during weekends. Street parking can be tough, but the lot is convenient!

Just did the Mt Hood & Columbia River Gorge tour - amazing experience!

I just got back from the Private Mt Hood & Columbia River Gorge Waterfalls tour and wow, it was stunning! Our guide was super knowledgeable, and Multnomah Falls took my breath away. We even got to stop in Hood River for lunch and a little wine tasting. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to explore the beauty of Oregon!

Thinking of gifting this tour - any tips?

I'm considering getting the Private Mt Hood tour for my boyfriend's birthday. He loves nature, and I think he’d have a blast! Is there anything special I should know before booking? Like what's the best time of year to go?
