Q&A
A: You typically get about 45 minutes to an hour in Muir Woods, which is perfect for a self-guided walk on the trails. If the weather doesn't cooperate, you can usually reschedule by contacting the provider directly. Just make sure to give them enough notice!
A: Absolutely! The Jeep fits up to 2 kids comfortably, and the trails in Muir Woods are well-marked and safe for younger ones. Just be sure to request child seats ahead of time if you need them!
A: Layers are key! It can be chilly on the Golden Gate Bridge, especially with the wind. Muir Woods can also be cooler and a bit foggy, so wearing something warm and comfortable is a good idea. Don’t forget comfortable shoes for walking!

Just booked the Private Muir Woods Tour! So excited!
I just booked this tour for my family next month! We’re all super excited to see the redwoods and drive over the Golden Gate Bridge. I love that it’s a small group tour with just us and the guide. I’ve heard the view from Muir Beach is stunning too! Anyone have tips for us?
Anyone else love the Sausalito stop on this tour?
I did this tour a few weeks ago, and I have to say, Sausalito was a highlight! We got to grab some ice cream and walk around the shops. Plus, the views of the bay are gorgeous. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to do this experience!
