Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the wine tasting part of this experience?

A: Yes, you need to be at least 21 to participate in the wine tastings. However, kids can join the tour and enjoy the scenery and train ride! Just make sure to let the guide know if you’re bringing younger ones so they can accommodate.

Q: How difficult is the hike at Multnomah Falls? I’ve got some friends who are not super active.

A: The hike to Multnomah Falls is pretty easy, it's mostly a paved path with some inclines. Just a short walk from the parking area to the viewing platform. Perfect for all fitness levels, so your friends should be fine! Plus, you can take your time enjoying the views.

Q: What should we wear for the train ride and winery tour? Is it casual or more upscale?

A: Casual is totally fine! You’ll be on the train and then at the winery, so comfortable clothes and shoes are best. Layering is a good idea too, as it can get chilly out in the gorge. No need to dress up too much!

Just did the Multnomah Falls & Wine Tour - Amazing experience!

I recently went on the Private Multnomah Falls, Train Ride, & Wine Tour and it was stellar! The train ride through the Hood River Valley was beautiful, especially with all the fall colors starting to show. The wine tasting was super chill, and we had a great guide who knew a ton about the area. Just make sure to bring your camera because the views at the falls are unreal. I highly recommend it for a fun day trip!

Thinking of gifting the Multnomah Falls tour - any tips?

Hey everyone! I’m considering this as a gift for my parents. They love nature and wine but I’m a bit worried about logistics. How long is the whole tour, and is parking easy near drop-off? Any advice would help!
