Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this culinary tour? What if I want to bring my 12-year-old?

A: Great question! This culinary adventure is pretty flexible but it's tailored more for adults, as it includes cocktail sampling. However, kids are welcome! Just let the guide know ahead of time, and they'll be sure to accommodate. There might be some non-alcoholic options for your 12-year-old too.

Q: How much walking is involved? My partner has trouble with long walks.

A: The walking is quite manageable! The tour stops at several restaurants, so there are breaks in between. It’s designed to be leisurely, and your guide can adjust the pace based on your needs. Plus, you can always take a break at any point if needed.

Q: What should I wear? Is it casual or more formal?

A: You can go casual for this tour! New Orleans has a laid-back vibe, so comfortable shoes are a must since you'll be walking. A light jacket is good if you’re going in cooler months, but otherwise just dress for the weather and in layers if you can.

Just did the Culinary Tour in NOLA - WOW!

I recently took the Private New Orleans Culinary, Cocktail and Kitchen Adventure and omg, it was amazing! We visited this hidden gem in the Marigny for some incredible gumbo and then tried these unique craft cocktails at a bar that I would’ve never found on my own. The guide was super knowledgeable and even shared some cool history about the French Quarter. I highly recommend it if you want to eat like a local!
