Q&A
A: While there's no strict age limit, I'd say kids around 10-12 and up will get the most out of it. The content can be quite heavy, especially when discussing the 9/11 Memorial. Younger kids might find it boring or miss the significance. Just keep in mind that it's a walking tour, so be ready for some time on your feet!
A: Yes, you can reschedule! CityRover Walks is pretty flexible with their tours. Just make sure to contact them as soon as you know the weather's gonna be a problem. They'll help you find another date that works for you.
A: Dress comfortably! You'll be walking quite a bit. I'd recommend wearing good walking shoes and checking the weather beforehand. Layers are a smart choice since temps can shift, especially near the water at Battery Park. A hat and sunscreen wouldn’t hurt if it’s sunny!

Considering the NYC Historic Downtown tour for my parents!
I'm thinking about gifting my parents this private walking tour of downtown NYC, especially the 9/11 Memorial part. They’ve always wanted to learn more about the history of the city, and I think this would be perfect. Has anyone done it? How was the guide? Was it worth the price?
Just finished the NYC Historic Downtown tour – wow!
I just got back from the Historic Downtown and Wall Street walking tour, and it was incredible! We hit all the major spots like the Charging Bull and Federal Hall, plus the guide shared some cool stories about Ellis Island. The 9/11 Memorial was really special too. Highly recommend for anyone considering it as a gift or just wanting to learn about NYC!
