Q&A

Q: What’s the best way to get to the starting point of the subway tour?

A: Jonathan usually suggests figuring out the nearest subway station to your hotel. In NYC, most hotels are pretty accessible via subway. You can easily hop on a train without worrying too much about traffic. Just make sure to give yourself enough time to arrive so you’re not rushed! Also, check the MTA website for any service changes that might affect your ride.

Q: Are there any age restrictions for this subway tour?

A: No age restrictions! This tour is great for everyone, including kids. Jonathan has even tailored tours for families with young ones, which is awesome. Just keep in mind that it’s a lot of walking, so make sure the kids are up for it. It’s all about customizing the experience to suit whoever is joining, which is a huge plus!

Q: What should we wear for the subway tour? Any tips?

A: Definitely wear comfortable shoes! You’ll be doing a lot of walking through the subway stations. Dress in layers because some stations can get stuffy while others are cooler. And if it’s rainy, don’t forget an umbrella. Jonathan keeps it flexible, so he’ll adjust the route based on the weather too!

This Private NYC Subway Tour Was a Blast!

Just got back from the private subway tour with Jonathan, and wow, it was amazing! He took us from our hotel in Times Square to a great restaurant in the East Village. We saw some abandoned stations and even learned about station designs. He’s super knowledgeable about the subway history. If you're thinking about it for a gift, I highly recommend it. It’s a unique way to see NYC!

Considering the Subway Tour as a Gift for My Parents

I'm thinking about getting this subway tour for my parents' anniversary. They've always been fascinated by NYC and the subway's history. Has anyone else done this? How flexible is Jonathan with the start and end points? They’re staying in Chelsea.
