As you cut through the jungle and cruise across open pastures in the glow of the sunset, you’ll wonder how you arrived at such a beautiful place. This is our premier off-road experience, and you’ll enjoy all the best of our other off-road tours, but under colorful Hawaiian skies and with a cool breeze behind you. Plus, you’ll be treated to a locally catered dinner at our private lookout point, complete with a crackling fire, toasted marshmallows, and the sights and sounds of an Oahu twilight. On the tour, one of our guides will show you to WWII historical sites, the Hidden Cave, filming locations, and point out some of the plants and wildlife along the way. You’ll have the chance to disembark to get an up-close look at the unique features that make Hawaii so special. It will be an adventure you’ll always remember. We look forward to seeing you!

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this off-road sunset dinner experience?

A: There isn’t a strict age limit, but kids should be at least 8 years old to enjoy the off-road ride comfortably. Just make sure they’re tall enough to sit in the vehicle safely. It’s a great family experience, just keep an eye on younger ones at the lookout point as it can get a little steep!

Q: What should we wear for the off-road tour? Is it dusty?

A: Wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes. It can get pretty dusty, so I’d recommend something you don’t mind getting a bit dirty. A light jacket is also good for the cooler evening after the sunset. Sunscreen is a must since you'll be out in the open!

Q: How easy is it to find parking at Gunstock Ranch?

A: Parking is super easy and free at Gunstock Ranch! There’s a large lot right near the entrance, and the guides will direct you to where to go. Just make sure to arrive a bit early to get settled and take in the views before the tour starts.

Just booked the off-road sunset dinner! Can’t wait!

I just booked the Private Off-Road Sunset Dinner at Gunstock Ranch for next month! I can’t believe we get to see WWII sites and then enjoy a catered dinner with toasted marshmallows under the stars! I’m hoping the weather is nice because the views seem amazing. Has anyone done this recently?

Tips for the Private Off-Road Sunset Dinner!

I did the off-road sunset dinner recently and it was incredible! Our guide was super knowledgeable about the area, and the dinner was really tasty. Just a heads up, you might want to bring a light jacket for later in the evening when it gets cooler. I was worried about getting dusty, but it wasn’t that bad. Can't wait to do it again!
