A: There's no strict age limit for the offshore fishing charter, but I'd recommend kids be at least 5 years old to really enjoy the experience. They also need to be okay with being on a boat for several hours. The crew is really good with kids and will help them with fishing, so they’ll have a blast!
A: If the weather looks bad, the charter will usually contact you a day or two before to reschedule. They’re pretty flexible about it and want to ensure everyone has a good time. Just be sure to keep an eye on the forecast!
A: Definitely dress in layers! It can get chilly out on the water, even in Texas. Bring a light jacket and wear comfortable, quick-dry clothes. Don’t forget sunscreen and a hat too – you’ll be out in the sun for a while!

Just got back from an amazing fishing trip from Port Aransas!
I went on the private offshore fishing charter last weekend and it was incredible! The crew from Blue Water Excursions was super friendly and provided everything we needed. We caught a ton of fish and they helped us take care of the catch. This would make such a great gift for my husband’s birthday! Anyone else have tips or favorite catches?
