Q&A
A: Definitely wear comfortable hiking shoes with good grip. The trails can be a bit rugged, especially up at Hurricane Ridge. I've done the tour before, and I wore sneakers, but I wish I had my hiking boots! You’ll feel more secure on the rocky paths and muddy spots.
A: There isn't a strict age limit, but kids should be able to hike about 6 miles. Families often bring kids 8 and up, but younger kids might find it tough. I took my 10-year-old and she loved it! Just check with the provider if they can accommodate very young kids.
A: They usually reschedule if the weather is really bad. I went in the summer, and we had some rain, but it didn't ruin the experience at all! Just check the forecast and wear layers. It can get chilly at higher elevations. They’ll keep you informed!

Just booked the Private Olympic National Park Day Tour - Any tips?
I just snagged a spot for the Olympic National Park Day Tour starting in Seattle! I'm super excited but also a bit nervous about the hiking part as I've never done anything quite like this. Any tips on what to wear or what to expect? I hear Hurricane Ridge has amazing views! I can’t wait to see the tide pools and Crescent Lake too!
Did anyone else do the Olympic National Park tour recently?
I just got back from the Private Olympic National Park Day Tour and WOW! The hike at Hurricane Ridge was epic, and the ferry ride was such a cool start to the day. Honestly, the guide was super knowledgeable about the ecosystem too. It was a long day, but so worth it! Anyone else have a similar experience?
