Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for participating in the paddle boarding tour at Peanut Island?

A: There’s generally no strict age limit, but kids should be at least 8 years old to paddle board comfortably. Younger kids can join if they ride along with an adult. Just make sure everyone’s comfortable in the water! It's a great family experience!

Q: What should I wear for the paddle boarding trip? Is there a way to keep my belongings dry?

A: Wear a swimsuit or quick-dry clothes, and don't forget sunscreen! South Florida can get sunny! They usually provide a dry bag for any personal items, so you can keep your phone and keys safe while paddling.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of our tour? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather looks sketchy, the guides will usually contact you to discuss options. They’re super flexible about rescheduling if conditions aren’t safe. Just keep an eye on the forecast!

Thinking about gifting the Private Paddle Boarding at Peanut Island!

Hey everyone! I’m considering gifting a private paddle boarding tour to Peanut Island to my partner for our anniversary. Has anyone done this? How was the experience? I heard they get to see turtles and manatees, and all the gear is included. Is it really worth it? Any tips?

Can I really take my little kids on the paddle boarding tour?

I’m looking to book this paddle boarding experience at Peanut Island, but I have two little ones (ages 5 and 7). Can they join us on the boards? I want them to have fun but don’t want to put them at risk. Any advice?
