Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to go paddleboarding on this whale watch?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but it’s recommended for kids at least 8 years old to handle the paddleboard. Younger kids can join if they’re comfortable in the water and wear life jackets. The guides are super accommodating and will adjust the experience based on everyone's skills.

Q: What should we wear for the paddleboarding? Is it casual or do we need special gear?

A: Definitely keep it casual! Wear a swimsuit and maybe a rash guard to protect from the sun. I'd suggest water shoes for better grip, too. They provide the paddleboards and snorkel gear, so just bring your towel and sunscreen!

Q: What happens if the weather doesn't cooperate? Can we reschedule?

A: Yes, you can definitely reschedule if the weather is bad! Just reach out to them, and they’ll work with you to find a new time. They’re really flexible about making sure you have a safe and enjoyable experience.

Can't wait for our paddleboarding whale watch in Maui!

I just booked the Private Paddleboard Whale Watch for my family next month! So excited to see Humpback Whales up close. We’ve never been paddleboarding before, so I hope it’s easy enough for my kids (ages 10 and 12). I've heard the guides are great with beginners! Any tips on what to bring or expect?

Thinking about gifting the paddleboard whale watch experience!

I’m considering getting this experience for my parents. They love whales and are pretty adventurous, but neither has paddleboarded before. Do you think this is a good gift? How long are the tours usually?
