Q&A

Q: Are there any age restrictions for this tour in Colorado Springs?

A: There are no strict age limits for the Private Pikes Peak Region Backcountry Half Day Adventure Tour, but it’s best for kids ages 8 and up due to the rugged terrain. Younger kids might need to be particularly adventurous, as some parts can be bumpy. Just check with the tour provider if you're unsure about your group's age mix!

Q: What should we wear for the backcountry tour?

A: You’ll want to dress in layers since the weather in Colorado can change fast! Sturdy shoes are a must—hiking boots or good sneakers will do. Also, bring a light jacket or a windbreaker, especially if you’re going early in the morning. Sunglasses and sunscreen are great for the sunny trails too!

Q: How does rescheduling work if the weather's bad?

A: If the weather is poor, the tour provider usually allows you to reschedule without any fees. They prioritize safety, so it’s really about finding a day when conditions are better. Just make sure to contact them as soon as you know you need a change!

Just got back from the Pikes Peak Backcountry Tour!

OMG, this tour was amazing! We had a private group of 5 and the owner drove us in this cool custom Land Cruiser. The views of Pikes Peak were insane, and we navigated some pretty wild trails! Snacks and drinks were included too, which was a nice touch. I think it's a great gift for anyone who loves the outdoors. Seriously, can’t recommend it enough!

Thinking of gifting the Pikes Peak Adventure Tour!

I’m getting this for my brother’s birthday! He loves hiking and exploring, but I’m a bit nervous about how rugged the tour is. Is it suitable for someone who’s moderately active? Also, how’s the parking situation in Colorado Springs?
