Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit, but I’d recommend this for kids ages 5 and up. The roads can be tricky, and some parts are quite bumpy. Make sure your kids are okay with being in a vehicle for several hours. The tour provider is great with kids, so just check in with them if you have any concerns!
A: Yes! Ohana Tours Maui is pretty flexible with rescheduling. Just make sure to give them a call at least 24 hours in advance. They want you to enjoy the experience, so they'll work with you as best they can!
A: Wear light, breathable clothing since it can get warm, but pack a light jacket too for when you're near the waterfalls. Comfortable shoes are a must—sneakers or hiking sandals are perfect! Don't forget your swimsuit if you want to take a dip at Wailua Falls!

Thinking about gifting the Private Road to Hana Tour—any tips?
I’m considering this tour for my sister’s birthday! She loves nature and waterfalls, and I think the swimming at Wailua Falls would just blow her mind. I’m a bit worried about the logistics though, like where to park for pickup in Maui and how long the whole thing lasts. Anyone done this before?
Just did the Private Road to Hana Tour—here’s my experience!
Wow, this tour was out of this world! The backside of Hana has views I’ve never seen before. The cliffs and the jungle were just breathtaking. Swimming in Wailua Falls felt like a dream. Highly recommend bringing a camera because you’ll want to capture every moment. Also, don’t skip on the beef jerky they provide, it was surprisingly good! Anyone else been?
