Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for this rock climbing experience?

A: Yes, there is usually a minimum age limit of 10 years old for most climbing experiences. However, younger kids can sometimes join if they have a parent or guardian present. It's best to contact Yarrow Mountain Guides directly to discuss specifics, especially if you're considering this for a younger child.

Q: What should we wear for the rock climbing session? Any specific gear needed?

A: You should wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows for movement, like leggings and a breathable top. Closed-toe shoes are a must, and I recommend wearing climbing shoes if you have them (but they’re usually provided). Don’t forget sunscreen since you’ll be outside for a while, and bring a water bottle!

Q: What if the weather is bad on the day of our climbing session? Can we reschedule?

A: Yes, Yarrow Mountain Guides will reach out if the weather doesn’t permit climbing. They usually let you reschedule, so no worries there! Just keep an eye on the forecast and maybe have a couple of backup dates in mind when booking.
