Q&A
A: Typically, the sailboat can accommodate up to 10 people comfortably, but if you’re on the heavier side, it’s good to check in with the provider directly. They usually have no strict weight restrictions, but it’s always best to confirm so everyone can have a great time. Just remember, the more people, the less room for movement!
A: Late spring and early fall are really beautiful times to sail around NYC. The weather is usually mild, plus you get to enjoy the fall foliage or spring blooms. Just keep an eye on the forecast, cause summer can be super hot and crowded with tourists. I'd recommend booking in advance if you’re aiming for a weekend!
A: Yes! You can bring your own drinks and snacks which is great for adding a personal touch to the experience. Just keep in mind, if you bring alcohol, make sure to check any rules they might have about it. It's nice to have a little picnic while enjoying the skyline!

Just did the private sail and WOW! What an experience!
I took my friends on the private sail around NYC last weekend, and it was absolutely incredible! We got to see the Statue of Liberty up close and the views of the skyline were stunning. The crew was super chill and let us help with sailing, which made it even more fun. We brought some snacks and drinks onboard, which made for a perfect afternoon. Definitely a gift I’d recommend!
Considering this as a birthday gift!
I’m thinking about gifting this private sail to my sister for her birthday in October. She loves sailing and NYC! Just nervous about the weather that time of year. Anyone have experience sailing around then? What should I tell her to wear?
