Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on the sailing charter?

A: There's no strict age limit, but kids should be able to sit still for about 2.5 hours and wear life jackets. The captain is super accommodating! Just check before you go to make sure they have the right sizes on board.

Q: What should we wear for the sailing trip? Is it cold at sunset?

A: I'd recommend layers! It can get a bit breezy on the water, especially at sunset, so a light sweater or jacket is a good idea. Also, don't forget sunscreen! The sun reflects off the water, and you'll want to protect your skin.

Q: Can you bring your own food? What's included in the charter?

A: Yes! You can bring whatever snacks and drinks you want—totally BYOB. The captain provides chilled bottled water and ice if you need it. So just pack your favorite snacks, and maybe some picnic-style stuff for a fun time on the water!

Amazing sunset sailing experience in Charleston!

Just got back from the private sailing charter with Captain James, and wow, what a trip! The views of the Ravenel Bridge at sunset were stunning. We brought our own snacks and drinks, and the captain made us feel right at home on the Esprit de Joy. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a fun group outing!

Looking for a unique gift, would this sailing charter be good?

Thinking about getting the private sailing charter for my friend's birthday. I've read great things about it! Can anyone share their experiences? Is it good for a birthday celebration? What’s the vibe like?
