A: If the weather is bad, Come Sailing will contact you to discuss rescheduling your charter. They prioritize safety, so they won’t send you out in dangerous conditions. Just be sure to keep an eye on the forecast for your day and they’ll work with you to find a good time to sail!

Q: Do you have any tips on what to wear for the sailing experience?

A: Dress in layers! It can get windy out on Lake Michigan even on warm days, so a light jacket or sweater is a good idea. Also, wear non-slip shoes since the deck can be slippery. Don't forget sunscreen and sunglasses—those reflections off the water can be intense!
