Q&A
A: The tours run throughout December, but I recommend booking a weeknight closer to Christmas when the lights are most vibrant. Weekends can get busy, so if you're looking for a more intimate experience, aim for a weekday evening. Also, remember to check the weather, as rainy nights might dampen the festive vibe!
A: Kids ages 5-11 are welcome on the tour, but they do need to be in their own seat. No laps allowed! It's a great experience for families as long as you're mindful of the seating.
A: Definitely layer up! It can get cold, especially after the sun goes down. I wore a warm jacket and a beanie, but the blanket they provide inside the Tuk Tuk helps a lot. You’ll also get those fuzzy Santa hats, which adds some fun to the outfit!

Just booked the Private San Francisco Holiday Lights Tour and I'm so excited!
I just booked the Lucky Tuk Tuk holiday lights tour for my family! We’ll be going in mid-December, and I can’t wait to see all the decorations at Union Square and PIER 39. I heard they have this amazing gingerbread house at The Fairmont too! I’m a little worried about the weather, but I read they provide blankets and hot cocoa, so that should help. Has anyone done this before? Any tips?
Looking for recommendations for the best holiday light tours in SF!
I’m thinking about giving the Private San Francisco Holiday Lights Tour as a gift to my sister's family. I know they love the holidays but I've never done this myself. Is it worth it? What was your favorite part? Any downsides I should know?
