Your scalloping adventure will last about 5 hours.  All of your gear is included.  This will be your mask, snorkel, fins, bag for collecting scallops, and your fishing license.  You will snorkel the grass flats of the Gulf of Mexico hunting for the bright blue eyes of the scallops in a an Easter egg hunt suitable for families.  You may harvest the lesser of 2 gallons of scallops per person or 10 gallons per boat. We provide an in-water guide on all trips to help with snorkels and to assist in your scallop hunting.  All scallops collected by the guide will be yours as well.  The scallops are small and very sweet.  This is a private scalloping charter.  We require a booking equivalent of 4 people.  Additional people can be accommodated, just let us know.

Q: What should we wear for the scalloping charter? Is it just swimwear or do we need anything extra?

A: You’ll want to wear your swimwear under a light rash guard or wetsuit if you get cold easily. Water shoes are a good idea too since the grass can be a bit rough on your feet. Don't forget about sunscreen and a hat if you’re going during the day!

Q: What's the age limit for kids to join? My niece is 8 and loves the water!

A: Kids as young as 5 can join the scalloping adventure. It's a great family-friendly activity, so your niece will have a blast! Just make sure an adult is with her at all times. The guides are super helpful too.

Q: What if the weather is bad? Can we reschedule our scalloping trip?

A: If the weather isn’t cooperating, they’ll usually contact you to reschedule. Just keep an eye on the forecast and be flexible. They want you to have a good experience, so they’ll work with you on finding a new date!
