Guided by those who know it best., weaving history, science, and tradition. Dolphins that have danced in these waters for generations, humpback whales navigating ancient migrations, seabirds carried by winds that once guided Polynesian wayfinders. Beneath the surface, the connection between human and ocean deepens. A honu (green sea turtle) drifts past, ancient and unhurried, a silent guardian of these reefs, where guests participate in Citizen Science, ensuring that every journey leaves a positive imprint, aligning discovery with stewardship. On the 34-foot power catamaran, the experience is as refined as it is immersive. Under the shade of the awning, the journey is unhurried, the moments unfiltered—whether capturing an Insta-worthy photograph as dolphins ride the bow or simply breathing in the salty breeze, this woman owned company delivers Hawai‘i as it was meant to be experienced. A place where luxury is defined not by opulence, but by the richness of the world it reveals.

Q&A

Q: What age do you recommend for kids on the Private Sea’fari Expedition?

A: This experience is great for kids of all ages, but I'd say 5+ is ideal. There’s a lot of snorkeling and some deeper water, so younger kids might need extra supervision. Just make sure they can follow safety instructions, and they'll have a blast spotting dolphins and turtles!

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather doesn't cooperate?

A: Yes, Wild Side Specialty Tours is pretty flexible! If the weather is bad, they’ll contact you to reschedule to another day. Just be sure to check the cancellation policy on their site for details.

Q: Is parking easy at the departure point in Oahu?

A: Parking is pretty straightforward near the dock! There are public lots available, but they can fill up quickly, especially on weekends. Arriving early is a good idea. I found street parking a little further away too, but it’s about a 10-minute walk.

Just booked the Private Sea’fari Expedition for my family!

I’m super excited! We’re going on the Private Sea’fari Expedition next month in Oahu. It’s for my husband's birthday, and we’ll get to see dolphins and snorkel! I’ve heard they provide lunch and drinks too, which is awesome. I just hope the weather is nice so we can enjoy the whole day on the water!

Anyone have tips for the Private Sea’fari Expedition?

I’m thinking of gifting this experience to my parents for their anniversary. What should I prepare them for? I know it includes snorkeling, but I’m a bit worried about their comfort level in the water. Any advice on what they should wear?
