Q&A

Q: Are there any age restrictions for this self-portrait photography experience?

A: There are no strict age restrictions as long as kids are accompanied by an adult. It's a fun activity for families! Just make sure to book the session during hours when the studio is less crowded so the little ones can really enjoy themselves.

Q: Can you reschedule if something comes up?

A: Yes, rescheduling is allowed! Just make sure to reach out to the studio at least 24 hours in advance. They’re pretty flexible, but it's best to give them a heads up so you don’t lose your spot.

Q: What should I wear for the photos? Any tips?

A: Great question! Go for outfits that reflect your personality but also consider the backdrop. If you're using the color room, bright colors pop beautifully! Avoid busy patterns, they can be distracting. Also, it’s always a good idea to bring a couple of outfits to switch it up!

Just got back from the self-portrait studio—so fun!

I just did the private self-portrait session at FotoLab Studio in NYC and I can’t recommend it enough! The setup is absolutely professional, and I loved being able to control the camera myself. The white backdrop gave such a clean look, and the lighting was perfect. It was way better than I expected! I went with my partner, and we were able to get so many cute shots. Perfect for gifts or just a fun date idea!

Considering the FotoLab self-portrait experience as a gift!

I’m looking into gifting the self-portrait experience to my friends who just got engaged. Has anyone done it for a special occasion? I'm curious about how the process works and if you can really get professional-quality photos without a photographer. The thought of them capturing their own moments is kind of cool!
