Q: Are there any age restrictions for the shark dive experience?

A: Yes, there are age requirements! Participants need to be at least 10 years old to dive. If you have younger kids, they can still join in for snorkeling, but they must be accompanied by an adult. Just keep in mind that the experience can be intense, so it’s good to gauge whether your kids are ready for it.

Q: What should we wear for the shark dive? Is there a chance it might get cold?

A: Great question! Typically, a swimsuit is fine, but I recommend bringing a light wetsuit if you tend to get cold easily, especially if you're snorkeling for a long time. Water temperatures in Oahu can vary, but a wetsuit will help keep you warm and provide some extra buoyancy. The dive team provides snorkeling gear, so just bring your swimwear and maybe a towel!

A: Yes, you can reschedule! If the weather conditions are unsafe for diving, the team will contact you to find a better date. They’re really good about accommodating schedules, so I wouldn’t worry too much. Just keep an eye on the weather leading up to your dive day.

I’m so excited about this Private Shark Dive in Oahu! I found it and thought it’d be an epic way to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. OMG, I just went on the shark dive last week and it was unreal! The team from Hawaii Adventure Diving was super professional, and we saw so many sharks up close. I even spotted a dolphin swimming by! 🐬 The snorkeling gear they provided was great, and the whole experience was just magical. Anyone thinking about it, just book it already! You won’t regret it!
