Date nights can be tough to plan sometimes. We have always loved visiting wine country, tasting its rich history, and enjoying the freedom of the backroads on a motorcycle. We figured why not give someone else the opportunity to experience all of the things we love in a new way! So, we decided to modify the standard motorcycle sidecar to accommodate two passengers and now we have the world’s first and only tandem sidecars, which is one of the things that makes us so special. Our goal is to give winery goers a unique, fun, and intimate way to get to know this beautiful wine region with our knowledgeable drivers. We don’t want to be just another mode of transportation between wineries. We want to immerse our guests in San Luis Obispo's culture, history, and how it became what it is today.

Q: Is there an age limit for this sidecar winery tour?

A: Yes, there is an age requirement. You have to be at least 21 to participate in the wine tasting part of the tour since it's all about wineries! However, anyone can join as a passenger in the sidecar as long as they’re accompanied by an adult. It’s perfect for a fun date or a memorable outing with friends!

A: Definitely dress for the weather! It's open-air, so it can get a bit windy. I’d recommend wearing comfortable layers and maybe a light jacket, especially if you’re going in the evening. Sunglasses and a hat are also great for sunny days. You want to be stylish but comfy!

A: If the weather looks bad, you can typically reschedule without a problem. Just make sure to call them as soon as you know, because they want to keep everyone safe and have a great experience! They’re pretty flexible and will work with you to find a new date that works.

I just got back from the Private Sidecar Winery Tour in Pismo Beach, and wow, what a unique way to explore! The tandem sidecars are super comfortable, and our driver was a local who shared the coolest stories about each winery. We visited three places and had some delicious tastings. Totally recommend it for anyone looking for a fun day out!
