Q&A

Q: Is there a minimum age for kids to participate in the Wildlife Land & Sea Combo?

A: There's no strict age limit, but kids need to be able to comfortably sit through the boat ride and the land tour. I've seen families with toddlers enjoy it, but I'd recommend checking with Bumble Expeditions to make sure your little ones will be safe and comfortable. They might have life jackets for younger kids too!

Q: Can this tour be rescheduled if the weather is bad?

A: Yes! Bumble Expeditions is pretty flexible with rescheduling due to weather conditions. They’ll work with you to find a new date, so just reach out to them as soon as you know there’s a problem. It's nice to know they prioritize safety and comfort!

Q: What should we wear for the combo tour? Is it cold out on the water?

A: Definitely dress in layers! It can get chilly on the water, even in summer. A windbreaker, hat, and maybe some waterproof shoes are a good idea. For the land part, just wear comfy shoes since you’ll be walking a bit. You never know when a whale might pop up, so being warm and ready is key!

Just booked the Wildlife Land & Sea Combo for my family! Any tips?

I'm so excited! We're a family of 6, and I just booked the Private Sitka Wildlife Land & Sea Combo for next month. I heard the Fortress of the Bears is a must-see! Any advice on what to bring or expect? We want to make the most of this adventure!

Amazing experience with Bumble Expeditions – highly recommend!

I did the Private Sitka Wildlife Land & Sea Combo last week and it was incredible! The boat ride was smooth, and we saw a bunch of whales. The Fortress of the Bears was the highlight for me. Our guide was super knowledgeable too! The meal afterward was perfect to unwind. Totally worth the price!
