Q&A

Q: Is there a weight limit for the tour? I want to surprise my partner, but they're a bit on the heavier side.

A: There isn't a specific weight limit for the tour, but keep in mind that the vehicle is a minivan and should accommodate most sizes comfortably. If you're really concerned, just reach out to Royal City Tours directly - they’re super friendly and can give you the info you need!

Q: What’s the best time of year to do this skyline tour? Is it worth it in winter?

A: I’ve done the tour in both summer and winter. Winter is magical with holiday lights, but dress super warm! The views are stunning year-round but think about your comfort with cold weather. If you love cozy nights, it’s totally worth it!

Q: What should we wear for this tour? Is it chilly at night by the water?

A: Definitely dress in layers! It can get a bit cold by the water, especially once the sun sets. Bring a nice light jacket or hoodie. And wear comfortable shoes since you might be walking a bit at the stops!

Just did the Skyline Tour – WOW!

I surprised my girlfriend with the Private Skyline Tour last week, and it was incredible! We started off at Carlo's Bakery, and those pastries? Amazing. The views across the river with the NYC skyline lit up at night were just breathtaking. Our guide was super knowledgeable too, sharing fun facts about Sinatra and the Statue of Liberty. Totally worth every cent!

Thinking of gifting the Skyline Tour, any advice?

I’m considering getting this experience for my parents’ anniversary. They love NYC! But I’m a bit nervous about the logistics. How long does the tour last, and is there parking nearby? Also, is it suitable for older folks?
